Hello, we are Jennifer & Aaron and our story together began way back when in 2004. Through the years we have danced at many weddings together, purchased our first home, married on a cool October Wednesday in 2013, honeymooned in Puerto Rico, and rescued three fur babies. We love getting the opportunity of getting to work together to capture your love. It’s the little things like when Jenn can just glance (or glare) at Aaron and he knows right where she wants him to be; to capture the moment. Or when he will climb (or crawl) through all kinds of muck so she doesn’t have to in a dress. Not to mention all those yummy meals cooked for the Photo Reveal Sessions- Aaron is a pretty mean cook!
A little word from Jenn - I’m your coffee addicted Photographer! It’s very rare to find me without a Starbucks in hand or using the store as my mobile office! I am your primary photographer and keep things relaxed so your photos are authentically, and genuinely you. I’m a detail oriented, Netflix-a-holic, semi OCD-color code your day planner type of chick. I studied at UMSL to achieve my BFA – Photography. Annually I attend multiple workshops to continue my education with world-renowned photographers. When I am not photographing (or editing) one of your lovely memories you may find me in front of the tube binge watching crime TV, or escaping in my vastly insane collection of makeup/nail products…
Tidbits from Aaron - I’m the second half of Aurora Photography aka the technical one. I earned my B.S. degree in Astrophysics and I've continued in the Graduate program. I work as a geospatial engineer by day and a nerd by night. When I’m not joining Jenn at a session burning my retinas out for the awesome sun flare shots or remote controlling a big - ole telescope, you will mostly find me at home, playing World of Warcraft, watching Star Trek or immersed in Harry Potter fan sites to look for more items for my collection. I love to experiment in the kitchen, I love feeding our guests my creations when they come over to view pictures from their events. Do you like BBQ?
